Polo Shirt Quality Control & Inspection System

Three inspection gates — incoming fabric, inline workmanship and final AQL — with documented reports. Quality is controlled against the sample you approved, not against a generic factory standard.

Three Gates

Inspection at Every Risk Point

☰

1. Incoming Control

Fabric composition and weight, width, shade, skew and visible defects; trim and accessory checks against the approved spec before anything is cut.

✎

2. Inline Checks

Workmanship checkers at collar, placket, embroidery and assembly operations catch defects at source, with random audits while the order moves down the line.

🔍

3. Final AQL

Finished, packed units sampled statistically for workmanship, measurement and packing compliance; goods are released only against the agreed AQL limits.

Independent Assurance

Third-Party Inspections and Testing

Buyers may appoint their own QC staff or inspection companies for inline monitoring and final random inspection; access and sampling support are provided without interference. Lab testing is arranged through accredited third-party laboratories when retailer or market compliance requires a report.

  • Dimensional stability (shrinkage after wash)
  • Colorfastness to washing, rubbing and light
  • Pilling and seam slippage on pique knits
  • Fiber composition verification
  • Restricted substances where destination rules apply

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to what apparel buyers ask before requesting a quotation.

Which AQL standard do you inspect to?
Final inspection follows the sampling tables of ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1 equivalent) at the AQL levels agreed in your order — commonly AQL 2.5 for major defects and 4.0 for minor defects. Your own standard can be written into the order instead.
Do I receive an inspection report before paying the balance?
Yes. Before balance payment, buyers receive the final inspection summary with defect counts by category, measurement results and photographs of the bulk and packing. Third-party reports can be issued directly by your inspection company.
Can you arrange lab testing for shrinkage and colorfastness?
Yes, through accredited third-party laboratories when your market or retailer requires reports — dimensional stability, colorfastness, pilling, fiber content and restricted-substance testing are the common requests. Test fees are quoted separately.
What happens if the inspection fails?
Failed lots are not shipped as passed goods. The factory sorts, repairs or re-makes according to the defect type, and reinspects. The handling path and any schedule impact are communicated immediately with photographic evidence.
